Awesome video Mike. You are really making this all work! What program did you use for the video? I loved the way you integrated the slides in there , very professional! So can you learn all that at Wealthy Affiliate?

Hi Dennis! Thank you for the video compliment, although I think I have a lot of work to do! lol

Several years ago I did some audio/video CD’s for some special needs kid camps, mainly with photos and audio. I used Corel’s Visual Studio Version 4 then and learned how to integrate the slides from Powerpoint. Sounds like it might make a good training opportunity, eh? I upgraded to Version 10, more bells & whistles.

Anyway, you can do the powerpoint slides, transitions from one to another, do your timing from one to the next (the “education” series where it brings in a new point. You can get it to record your transitions while you time it or tie it in with the audio. Then when it’s done like you want, you let powerpoint make an mp4 out of the slideshow. In this video there are five slideshows.

The video itself is just a one time through using Zoom Q4, got the .MOV movie off of it and imported it into Visual Studio 10, trimmed the junk off the front, then took the mp4 slideshows and laid them into the timeline as overlays. There’s a little trimming involved to get rid of “junk” but when it plays and comes to the overlay, the video from the overlay defaults over the original video. Audio stays the same. Then I export it to whatever video format I want. I just picked mp4 because it’s so common.

The entire process is pretty straight forward. Just takes some time. I have no doubt that you can do it!

So how’s the rest of the WA experience? I love doing this kind of stuff. I’ve been checking out this dude on YouTube that goes by “Lazy Ass Stoner” – dude! This kid’s got it together and knows his sh@t!

In fact, I’ve been a WA member for a month plus. I find value in learning the ropes from WA and I have made friends along the way who are willing to help me out. I have made the first referral in WA but he has signed up for the premium membership yet. At least, I will some form of reassured as this means that I am a milestone closer to the path of success. Anyway, thanks for sharing this and I like this post.
